Islands in the Stream
Streaming video, that is
Yesterday, we were able to create a video feed of the sermon and it turned out pretty well. There is a ton of potential with this sort of thing and I want to work to perfect it. We have come so far in a short time. Our audio issues are resolved for Sunday morning, it seems and that was our big hurdle.
After all we have done lately, with the work on the roof (we did do some work up there, along with some gymnastics by a certain, talented, young gymnast on our team) and other work we have accomplished lately, I thought tomorrow night we would check out our video stream then also check out lifechurch.tv, it starts at 8. It will be a chance to compare our early video attempts with how the big boys do it. I think they are running more than a single camera, that might be our first observation.
Who knows, some have already said it looks like we are ready for the bigtime.
I should be there by 6 or 6:15 and I’ll get the projector set up and we’ll plan to officially start a little after 7.
I think we will live stream our get together as we watch and critique our video stream. So come on out and bring popcorn.
